Meet Landon

Landon loves music, lights, animals, sunshine, and spending time with his big brother, Everett. Whether he’s exploring the outdoors, cheering on Everett at a sporting event, or sharing one of his unforgettable smiles, he finds joy in the moments that make childhood special.

Born in October 2021, Landon began facing unexplained medical challenges at just six weeks old. He was later diagnosed with Gould Syndrome, a rare genetic condition, and experienced his first seizure at three months old. Today, he lives with epilepsy, cortical visual impairment, dystonia, and complex medical needs that include a feeding tube and around-the-clock care.

His days have included countless hospital stays, surgeries, appointments, and therapies—but his story reaches far beyond his diagnoses. Landon continues to share his joy with the people around him, reminding his family that a meaningful life takes many forms.

With two working parents and two boys who both have medical needs, his family balances everyday life with coordinating care, managing equipment, and advocating for essential services. Like many families, they often find themselves caught between needing significant support and qualifying for available resources.

Through a partnership with Callum Cares, Landon’s family hopes to access equipment, therapies, and care resources that support his safety, comfort, and participation. For them, that support means more time together, greater peace of mind, and more opportunities for Landon to experience the world and be included in his community.

Voice of Hope

“Support through Callum Cares would mean less time fighting for essential services and more time simply being Landon’s parents. Our hope is for him to have every opportunity to experience the world, share his joy, and be included in the moments that make childhood special.”
